Preschool for Children with Special Needs

In a warm, caring, respectful and vibrant environment, our preschool offers highly individualized educational and therapeutic services to children ages 3 to 5 with special needs. Fundamental to our program is the belief that young children learn primarily by interacting with their environment and peers. Our classrooms are rich in learning opportunities and materials are carefully chosen to address the developmental levels and needs of those in each class. Group activities are emphasized and high teacher-student relationships ensure that every child participates. Therapeutic services, including speech and language, physical and occupational therapy, are integrated into the classroom setting and information and expertise is shared among classroom and therapy staff.
Both full and half-day class schedules are available, as is bilingual instruction for Spanish-speaking families.

“Our goal is to help each child develop to his or her full potential. That’s the goal for every child. When a child has a disability, it’s still the same goal. The ideal is that you find the way to help each child succeed as fully as he or she can.”
